The Institute for Advanced Practices in Advertising is an independent, interdisciplinary public-policy research institute, established in 2004 and located in Long Beach, California.

The mission of the Institute is to research, identify and evaluate solutions for current and foreseeable problems in the areas of advertising, marketing, broadcast programming, media evaluation, information technology and communications, interactive entertainment, education, and social sciences.

Through its sponsored research, workshops and publications, the Institute serves as a bridge between academia and decision makers in advertising, entertainment, brand marketing, public institutions and government.

The scope of professional activity at the Institute for Advanced Practices in Advertising is the constant improvement of the ever-changing interface between innovation, communications, technology, economy and society.

To achieve its mission, the Institute undertakes sponsored research, organizes workshops and implements continuing education activities on topics of significance for the development of new practices, business process models, methods and procedures.

Our focus is in the areas of creative development, media deployment and evaluation technologies, branded entertainment and marketing methodologies as they relate to accountability time to market, cost of sales and return on investment.
